Tsipou.tapas , in Thessaloniki, is a hangout for all ages. It evolved from a place based on the philosophy of tapas, to a mezedo shop with subversive Cretan cuisine.
The restaurant's menu is based on genuine Cretan delicacies and local products. You can enjoy traditional dishes such as Cretan vinegar sausages, Cretan syglino, skiufichtas with apaki, gravies, trachanopites, cheese kadaifi but also combined flavors in dishes such as the "shepherd's katsuna" (tortilla with apaki chicken and grilled vegetables). The restaurant offers a wide range of options, for every occasion, for this reason you will also find classic options in meat or pasta. Whatever you choose will go perfectly with wine, tsikoudia or raki, especially the pomegranate flavored one.
The decoration of the restaurant is inspired by the Cretan tradition. The space is dominated by wood and photos, posters and various ornaments as visual details. Overall, the place has a party atmosphere which, although simple, is ideal for creating a welcoming atmosphere.
