1. INTRODUCTION

The e-table.gr Website and Application are managed by the Greek company under the name E-TABLE RESTAURANT RESERVATIONS SINGLE MEMBER P.C. with headquarters in the municipality of Heraklion, Attica, 421 Heraklion Avenue, P.C. 1411-22 (TIN 800600554, GEMI No 131558001000), which will be referred to for brevity as "Company" or "E-table" and which is the Data Controller of the personal data collected from you during your visit to the Website and when using the Application and the company's online services. Personal data means all information that identifies you or can identify you directly or indirectly. For any question regarding the processing of your personal data by the Company, you can contact the Data Protection Officer ("DPO") of e-table by sending an email to the email address dpo@e-table.gr. E-table takes the protection of your privacy very seriously and has taken all necessary measures to safeguard the security and confidentiality of information concerning visitors/ users of the Website/ Application services.

The following terms of this Privacy Policy (hereinafter "Privacy Policy"), which is an integral part of the Terms of Use of the e-table.gr Website/ Application (hereinafter "Website" or "Application"), covers the use of the Website/ Application and the services of e-table by a simple visitor as well as by a registered user of our online services, as described in the terms of use. The use of our Website/ Application and the registration in our services implies the unreserved acceptance and agreement from the visitor/ user with the terms of use. This Policy is subject to the information of data subjects in accordance with articles 13-14 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation 679/2016. We recommend that you, as visitors/ users, carefully read this privacy policy that we follow, in order to be informed about the data collected when you visit e-table.gr and when you use our online services, how it may be used and shared, how that information is protected and what your rights are.

This Privacy Policy applies only to the Website/ Application and the online services of e-table and covers the personal data of visitors/users collected by e-table during the visit and use of its services. Also, this Privacy Policy covers the conditions for the collection, processing and management of the personal data of visitors / users by e-table. If the visitor does not agree with these conditions, (s)he must not proceed with the reservation and/or registration process and the creation of an account on the Website/Application or follow the Exclusion Procedure as described below.

This Privacy Policy does not in any way cover the relationship between the visitors / users of the Website / Application and any services that are not under the control and / or ownership of e-table. Users should note that our Website/Application may contain links to other websites, however e-table does not bear any responsibility for the processes and terms of the privacy policy or the content of said websites.

2. BROWSING THE WEBSITE/MOBILE APP

Each visitor can browse the Website/Application without providing any personal information, beyond what is automatically collected from browsing the Website/Application. In the event that the visitor wishes to make a reservation at a restaurant and/or become a registered user of the Website/Application in order to be able to make use of its services, personal data is collected, specifically: name, e-mail address, phone number and optionally gender, date of birth and area of residence. E-table has the ability and reserves the right to store the visitor's IP address and, if necessary, to contact their Internet Service Provider (ISP) in the event of a violation of the Terms of Use of the Website/Application.

3. PERSONAL DATA & PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION (PII)

3.1 DATA AND INFORMATION COLLECTED

For the use of our services the collection of certain personal data or user identification information (PII) is necessary. Personal Data includes data or information that identifies an individual, such as name, e-mail address, and other data that can reasonably be linked to an individual's identity, such as a phone number. This data can be used to uniquely identify a user for the purpose of managing his/her reservation and displaying targeted advertisements and marketing activities.

Data that is not necessarily linked to the identity of a natural person may also be collected, namely IP address, browser version, operating system, cookies, advertising IDs and type of device.

The Website / Application Registration process and the use of our services requires the provision of a minimum amount of personal data, as described in section 5.

The Application collects the information you provide when you download and use it. Registering on e-table is optional. However, some of the features or services offered may not be available to unregistered users.

In addition, the Application may automatically collect mobile device type, unique device ID, mobile device IP address, operating system, browsers, and information about how the Application is used.

When you use the Application, your current location may be determined through GPS (or other similar) technology in order to identify the area you are to display relevant messages / information / customized features.

3.2 PURPOSE OF COLLECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

The personal data declared by the user anywhere on the Website/Application are intended solely for the purpose of ensuring the operation of the services provided and the legality of the relevant transactions and may not be used by any third party, without complying with the provisions of the General Protection Regulation of Data (EU) 2016/679, the national legislation and the relevant acts of the Hellenic Data Protection Authority, the law 3471/2006 and the ePrivacy directive (2002/58/EC, amended 2009/136/EC) as they apply regarding the protection against processing of personal data. Finally, by using the services of the Website/Application, it is possible to request or collect other information for statistical purposes, which, however, is disconnected from the user's personal information in accordance with the provisions of the legislation on the protection of personal data.

3.3 OPT OUT PROCEDURE - RIGHTS OF USERS

The user can withdraw his consent to the collection of data collected so far by sending an email at info@e-table.gr or by contacting the Data Protection Officer of e-table at dpo@e-table.gr. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the legality of the processing of user's personal data up to that point by e-table.

Data collection by the Application may be terminated by uninstalling the Application. The procedure indicated by the device, operating system, online store or mobile network should be followed by the user.

In addition, the user may opt out from the collection of data from third-party cookies through the Network Advertising Initiative service and from the collection of Google Cookies data by modifying their personal settings in Google Ads Settings.

If you do not wish your location to be used, please disable Location Services in your mobile device settings.

In accordance with the provision of Art. 13-22 of the General Data Protection Regulation 679/2016/EU, you have the right to information, the right of access, the right to rectification, the right to erasure, the right to restriction of processing, the right to data portability, the right to object to the processing of your personal data data, including objection to automated decision-making and profiling, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority.

4. COLLECTION AND TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA UNDER CONDITIONS

E-table may collect and/or transfer, in accordance with the applicable legal provisions, your personal data to third parties, other than the restaurants, in one of the following cases:

4.1 ADVERTISING, STATISTICS, MARKETING

We may work with statistics companies (web/mobile app statistics) to help us understand how the Website / Application is used and to record statistics such as the frequency of visits and the length of time spent on our Website / Application. We work with third-party advertisers and advertising networks that need to know how users interact with the Website / Application. Advertisers and advertising networks use some of the information collected by the Website / Application, including, but not limited to the user's device unique identifier and/or phone number. To protect the anonymity of information, we use encryption technology to ensure that third parties cannot cross-identify individuals. Partners may also collect anonymous information about other websites / applications you have used, websites you visit, location information in order to serve targeted advertisements within the Website / Application. Encrypted information you have provided may be transferred to our partners combined also with other available information about you for statistical analysis or advertising purposes. Our partners do not independently use the information we transfer to them and have agreed to abide by the rules set by the relevant legislation.

4.2 PARTNERSHIPS WITH THIRD PARTIES

We may transfer data to third parties for the purpose of providing a service you have requested or an advertising offer offered by us or a third party. The transfer of information between partners includes applications or websites that integrate by API or otherwise our services and APIs or services with which e-table is connected.

4.3 SOCIAL NETWORKS

Our Website/ Application may offer Social Media sharing and other related tools that allow you to share your actions within the Website/ Application with other applications, websites or social media, and vice versa. Using such features allows information to be shared with your friends or the public, depending on the settings you have specified in your personal profile. Please refer to the privacy policies of these social networking services for more information about how they handle your data.

4.4 NOTIFICATIONS/ MESSAGES ON MOBILE DEVICES

We may work with partners that use mobile SDKs to passively collect information, which generally helps us send personalized notifications/ messages. This data may also be used to uniquely identify you, among other things, for the purpose of displaying targeted advertisements and marketing activities. Depending on the permissions granted to this application (see section 7), this information may include personal information including your email address.

4.5 SALE / MERGER / CHANGE OF CONTROL

If there is a sale, merger, consolidation, change of control, transfer of material assets, reorganization or liquidation of e-table then, in its sole discretion, e-table may transfer, sell or assign information collected from the Website/ Application, to one or more relevant third parties. In this case, e-table will notify all affected users of the Website/ Application before the transfer of personal data or before they become the subject of a different privacy policy.

5. PROCESSES INVOLVING THE COLLECTION AND PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA & USERS IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION (PII)

5.1 REGISTRATION ON THE WEBSITE/ APPLICATION

To create an account on the Website/ Application, the visitor must provide the name, email address and create a password. As long as you have created an account on the Website/ Application and provided us with your email address, we reserve the right to send you regular offers of similar services that we offer via email. The content of this communication varies, as the technologies and criteria we use to design our communications and categorize our users into groups vary. This is a profiling process where we automatically process your data. This customer categorization process may have a legal or other significant impact on you if you receive certain communications that are not included in other campaigns. If the automated decision-making leads to a negative result for you and you do not agree with it, you can contact us at dpo@e-table.gr. In this case, we will assess your case individually. Data processing for direct marketing purposes is done exclusively on the basis of our legitimate interest for personalized advertising in accordance with art. 6 par. 1 (f) of the General Data Protection Regulation. If you have objected to the use of your email address for this purpose, we will not send you marketing activities via email. You have the right to object to the use of your e-mail address for the aforementioned advertising purposes at any time and with future effect either through the emails we send you, or through your profile or by informing us at dpo@e-table.gr. In this case, the use of your email address for advertising purposes will be stopped immediately. In addition, during the registration process, the visitor is invited to declare additional optional information, if and when desired, such as area of residence, date of birth, gender and contact phone number. After registration, the above account details can be viewed / modified at any time and without charge by the user by using his/her personal password or by contacting e-table.

5.2 ONLINE RESERVATIONS / TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA TO RESTAURANTS

In order to process an online reservation at a partner- restaurant, the user of the Website/ Application is asked to register an email (if (s)he has not previously registered with e-table), the name of the beneficiary of the reservation as well as a contact phone number. Also, the user can optionally provide additional special comments regarding the service (s)he is going to receive. Upon completion of the reservation on the Website/ Application, the beneficiary's name, contact phone number, email address and any special comments are automatically transferred exclusively to the restaurant of the reservation, as they are necessary for the provision of the relevant services. The cooperating restaurants have legally committed to e-table that they will treat this information as confidential, that they will use it for the sole purpose of supporting and executing online reservations and that they will keep it for a limited period of time, according to any applicable legislation.

5.3 COMMENTS AND REVIEWS

Users who have completed a reservation to a partner- restaurant through the Website/ Application are entitled to submit comments, reviews and ratings through their account under the Website/ Application Terms of Use. Such user material may (a) be posted on the Website/ Application, (b) used and placed (in whole or partially) by e-table on social media platforms, newsletters, special promotion platforms, applications and other networks owned, hosted, used or controlled by e-table. In any case, the material in question will not include any personal data of the user, while the user himself will be linked only with his first name and the first letter of his last name in order to ensure anonymity. In the event that a user does not wish any publication or reproduction of such material, (s)he should not use this particular service.

5.4 SURVEY

In the context of providing its services or other promotional actions, e-table may periodically invite its users to participate in electronic voting/ survey. In order to participate in this voting process, the users of the Website/ Application should state their name and, where appropriate, other personal information such as status, age, etc. (depending on the nature of the questions). The user's vote is recorded exclusively for drawing conclusions in relation to the position of public opinion on a certain issue and may not be used for any other purpose nor disclosed to third parties.

5.5 LINING TO THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES

Through the Website/ Application, the visitor/ user may have access to other third party websites such as social networking websites like facebook and twitter. In any case where the visitor/ user makes use of this service, a transfer of information takes place with the websites in question and the information shared, governed by their respective privacy policies. The visitor/ user needs to modify the privacy settings of his/her account on these websites directly. E-table does not control the privacy policies of such third parties and assumes no responsibility or liability for the actions of such third parties.

6. COOKIES

The Website may use cookies in order to improve the user's experience while browsing it and also improve the overall quality of its services. Cookies are small text files sent to a user's computer when they visit a website. They are used to facilitate the visitor's/ user's access to specific e-table services, for statistical reasons in order to determine the areas in which said services are useful or popular or for marketing purposes. The visitor/ user of the Website can set his/her browser in such a way as to prohibit the download of all cookies or to notify him/ her when a cookie is sent. However, a visitor/ user of the Website should be aware that some features or services of the Website may not function properly without cookies.

7. IMPORTANT NOTE ON LICENSES OF OPERATING SYSTEMS

Most mobile platforms (iOS, Android, etc.) have specified types of device data that applications cannot access without your consent. These platforms have licensing systems in place to obtain your consent. The iOS platform will notify you the first time our App needs access to certain types of data and give you the option to consent (or not) to that request. Android devices notify us of the permissions our Application requires before you use it for the first time, and your use of the Application constitutes your consent. The rights/ permissions that our Application requires may change over time.

8. IP ADDRESSES

Every computer connected to the Internet is assigned a unique number known as an Internet Protocol (IP) address. The IP address through which the computer (PC) of the visitor/ user has access to the internet and then to the Website, is stored and can be used by e-table, if necessary, in the event of a violation of the Website Terms of Use on behalf of the visitor/ user.

9. GENERAL TERMS OF PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

The user can contact e-table at any time and free of charge in order to verify the existence of his personal account, correct it, change it or delete it, as well as to opt out from receiving marketing activities via email. When updating personal information, e-table may ask the user to verify their identity before being able to fulfill the request. Visitors/ users of the Website/ Application who are minors do not have the right to register as users and therefore do not have the obligation to submit their personal information. The owner of an account on the Website/ Application (user) is fully responsible for any use and maintenance of the secrecy and security of his/ her password and must immediately notify e-table of any unauthorized use of his account by a third party as well as any other case of violation of the account. E-table operates in accordance with the applicable Greek and European legislation and has adopted procedures that protect the personal data that the user provides through the Website/ Application, for as long as (s)he is registered and benefits from its services. Only authorized employees have access to them, whenever necessary. These data are deleted after the termination of the contractual relationship.

10. RIGHT OF MODIFICATION

E-table reserves the right to change or modify this Privacy Policy at any time, without notice to users. Such changes, modifications, additions or deletions to the Privacy Policy shall be effective immediately, i.e. upon their posting on the Website/ Application. Any use of the Website/ Application following such change or modification shall be deemed to constitute acceptance by the user of the changes, modifications, additions or deletions.

The original Greek text of this Website/ Application Privacy Policy may have been translated into other languages. Translations are being made for convenience and no rights derive from these texts. In the event of a dispute regarding the content or interpretation of the Privacy Policy or a difference between the Greek version thereof and any other translated version, the Greek versions of the texts shall, to the extent permitted by law, apply, prevail and be final. The Greek version of the Privacy Policy is available on the Website/ Application (selection of the Greek language is required) or can be sent upon written request.
