The NUS restaurant is located on the beach of Platys Gialos in Sifnos, it is an excellent choice for dining that will surely leave you with an unforgettable experience. A few years ago, Alexandros Narlis transformed the family tavern in Platis Gialos into "Nus", that is, a restaurant with modern Greek cuisine based on the dehydrated goodies of the organized family farm and local meats . He himself was in charge of a gourmet restaurant in Wales for 4 years and returning to his place he renewed the flavors in his own way. The savory manoura cheesecake with local aniseed shortbread and leek chutney is punchy and velvety, the wild zygouri with lemon curd, poached, wrapped in flaky crust and cooked in the wood-fired oven is deeply flavoured, the whole buttery seabass stuffed with a pastry crust is impressive in eye and palate, the innovative salad with alabaster grated aubergine, accompanied by Florini pepper gel and the rich, fruity acidity of fermented banana, we really like, as well as the cleverly chlorophyllated garlic pea with paprika oil and garlic sprouts.
