On the picturesque pedestrian street of Heraklion, in the area of the Acropolis, the restaurant Merceri food & drink opened in July 2021, an elegant "fine dining" food bistro where traditional recipes and small producers meet with modern Greek cuisine creating a new perception of the uniqueness of the taste.
Chefs Melina Chomata and Maria Dioudi upgrade the simplest dishes into excellent culinary proposals using pure ingredients, impeccable technique and abundant creativity. The format of the menu gives you the flexibility to create your own dining experience, while the composition of the wine list with wineries from all over Greece, gives you the opportunity to enjoy the harmonious combination of food and wine.
Merceri has been recognized by the Michelin Guide for its excellent cuisine, impeccable service and elegant surroundings and remains true to authentic Greek flavors.
There is a 2.5-hour seating limitation for reservations.
