In the historic pedestrian street of Heraklion, in Thisio, a group of three friends, who share the same passion for wine, opened this wine spot. Lost Roots is a wine bar with deep wine roots , since all three friends have traveled from France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, even to many wineries in Greece to enrich their knowledge and bring traveled varieties and recipes. Lost Roots expresses their love of wine and focus. The visitable cellar has over 200 labels and new wines are added daily . You can find and taste labels from all over the world with conventional, mild interventions and natural wines, while the list contains about 25 options by the glass, and is regularly renewed. Of course, the cellar also offers beers from Greek microbreweries and spirits, which you can purchase. Lost Roots' menu changes with the season and although it is mostly Greek and Mediterranean in character, it has influences from around the world, with vegan and vegetarian options, and there is also a list of selected cheeses and charcuterie, which it changes regularly.
