Fifty Fish first opened its doors 3 or so years ago in the motley "neighborhood" of Agios Konstantinos to offer seafood dishes in traditional and modern versions that highlight the fresh raw material. Having established itself as one of the top fish- eating hangouts in the north , Fifty Fish is making a major gastronomic "turn" this year, expanding its menu with more modern recipes and homophagous options (always starring the delicious treasures of the sea ), inspired by international trends , but at the same time maintaining an inseparable link with Greek gastronomic preferences. A move that can only be described as positive, when we talk about experts in what has to do with creative seafood cuisine . As a result of the above, in Fifty Fish from now on, next to the ideally cooked, fresh fish of the day , the shrimp juvette (signature option now), the excellent pasta Fifty Fish with handmade pasta in cuttlefish ink, the fresh octopus and squid on the grill and steamed mussels , you can indulge in new delights, such as fluffy bao bun from the depths of Asia with tempura shrimp , seafood burgers for those who are fans of American culture, such as this handmade fresh salmon fillet burger in black brioche, and last but not least… "teased" sushi rolls (typical example the cool Santorini uramaki with black rice! ) and nigiri, along of course with the most trendy & classic choices of the genre, for the sworn lovers of the umami experience. The new, updated menu is therefore divided into 2 categories - in Greek and international cuisine , with new age carpaccio (sea bass & octopus), finely chopped tartare & ceviche in unique variations ( tuna, salmon, shrimp, fagri etc.), wonderful filleted and presentable, while preserving traditional delicacies such as the unique handmade taramosalata or smoked mackerel , which initially stood out. Its space, with the bar right in front of the open kitchen that allows you to "steal" the chef's secrets, is a modern epitome of casual dining and the cozy atmosphere that is required in any case. Whether it is going out with friends , your couple or family , or early noon on weekdays for formal business meals, what we can say is that fish eating has never been more enjoyable … and more affordable .
