Information

Thea by Latifis is located in Plaka below the Acropolis hill . It is a cozy restaurant built at the end of the 19th century on the street that is now called Kydathinaion. The visitor can enjoy all the services on one comfortable floor. In the summer they have a beautiful terrace with a view of the Acropolis, where you can dine or enjoy the fine cocktails. Below the Acropolis of Athens, in the old Plaka in 1890, Konstantinos Latifis starts the oldest cheese factory in Athens. He is a producer and with the help of his son Dimitris, who takes over the business in 1915, they make progress in their field. They accompany the quality of their products with the revolution in pasteurization and homogenization, with the production of the first pasteurized milk in a bottle, 'LATO' milk. The third generation took over in 1935 with Dimitris Latifi's sons, Andreas and George. In 1995, the son, Dimitris, begins the radical renewal of the company. In one pleasant place you can now try all the products. They provide a wide variety of sweets, dairy products and will especially recommend you the unique fresh ice cream in 30 flavors. Satisfy your appetite with the very rich menu. There is something for everyone, from fresh salads, appetizers and aperitifs to delicious sweet crepes, coffees and ice creams . While enjoying your meal or drink, you can enjoy the spectacular view of the Acropolis. Make your reservation easily and quickly through etable!
