On the 7th floor of the NEW Hotel in Philellinon Street is the Art Lounge restaurant designed by the Campana brothers. The bell-shaped lighting fixtures in the bar area, as well as the recreated furniture with impressive velvet fabrics directly give the unique aesthetics of the authentic contemporary design that characterizes the hotel as a whole. With reference to those flavours we all love and using carefully selected high quality raw materials, NEW Hotel's Executive Chef Babis Kountouris and his team propose a unique menu, a new interpretation of Greek tradition through modern culinary techniques. Classic recipes from all over Greece, dishes rooted in Greek tradition, now take centre stage at the table of the Art Lounge. The selection of wines by the glass with more than 20 labels available, mainly from small and larger Greek producers, as well as the signature cocktails perfectly complete the puzzle or become the reason for a visit to the bar, while every Saturday and Sunday the restaurant's famous brunch traditionally gathers the coolest crowd in town. Art Lounge serves not only lunch and dinner à la carte but also one of the most popular brunch menus in Athens. A highlight is the hotel's in-house bakery and pastry shop where organic freshly baked pastries and desserts are prepared daily. The unobstructed, panoramic view of Athens makes the Art Lounge one of the city's favorite meeting places for all hours of the day.
