Information
An imaginative and creative touch to the map of Athenian fish eating was added by the tavern of Votanikos - TO PSARI - which managed to catch the eye with its appearance.
Psari has a very large, picturesque and green courtyard reminiscent of the old houses of the area and an aura of an old shop where it refers to other times.
Inside there is also some old furniture and one wall is painted with two huge "live" fish thus creating a relaxed casual atmosphere. The large and sought-after variety of wines and spirits is one of its trump cards, so make your choice and put next to them some of the most successful seafood - from a variety of seafood vinegar and anchovy marinade to salted Greek cod, cheese salad and amazing home made "gou" from mackerel. Seeking options are the lahmatzoun with smoked fish, the mussels with wassabi and cream and the peskandritsa with horseradish, tomato sauce and cream cheese. Do not forget to try the "teased" fava with truffle and the red lentil with fried octopus. The pan produces delicious shrimp and shellfish fries but also potatoes with onion and smoked fish!
