Ortansies tavern is located in Katihori at the foothills of western Pelion only 3km from Portaria. The dominant feature of the environment is the evergreen greenery and the running waters. More specifically, the tavern is located in Kato Katihori region, which is famous for its grapes, all the products made of them and its drinking water as well.
Since 1993 we offer Gioulmpasi. Gioulmpasi recipe is known at the Peloponnese, with lamb or goat each Gioulmpasi is unique. It is highly recommended for those who consider eating more than necessary. Original draft of excellent quality feta, tomato, green pepper, oregano and olive oil wrapped in foil is served. For the food lovers it is offered with hot pepper. The wonderful spentzofai a trademark of Pelion’s cuisine is cooked here with its main ingredients to be: pepper - Spentzas - sausage and fresh tomato.
