Monk grapes and spirits is a special wine bar, very different from all the others. Next to the busy Agia Irini Square, Monk Grapes and Spirits dominates with a long, narrow bar full of holy grapes and sin spirits, while its hall is full of stands and high cork-shaped stools. A cozy place reminiscent of an island, with old black and white movies, lounge music selections and a well-kept garden that will relax you and take you on a journey.

On its terrace is the restaurant with table seats where you can enjoy a complete lunch or dinner. The decoration is simple but careful with beautiful details, while the right lighting together with the many candles contribute to the whole atmosphere. The menu list includes several hot and cold Mediterranean dishes, pouches with aubergine, smoked salmon rolls, veal tagliata and pizza with chorizo and mozzarella and others that will pair perfectly with one of the wines from the restaurant's extensive wine cellar.

The restaurant 's roof garden welcomes you with the summer menu of the chef, Panagiotis Vasilatos , full of cool salads and appetizers to delicious pizzas, spaghetti and delicious sweets. Try the gazpacho with marinated shrimp & smoked pickled eggplant and the chicken with panko & spicy mustard sauce, the bruschetta and the mushroom risotto and the wonderful tagliata with chimichuri sauce. All dishes have the flavor of Greek, seasonal products.

The shop's big asset is clearly its wines! The wine list curated for Monk by distinguished sommelier Vassilis Papadopoulos includes 160 different labels from 128 different wineries and a total of 15 countries. The fact that all the wine list labels are served in a glass (150ml or 75ml) is impressive. This is because Monk uses the Coravin system which can "pump" wine from a bottle, without removing the cork from it.

In addition, you can accompany your meal with a cocktail from the special list curated by executive bartender Petra Maragou , with seasonal Greek herbs! The classic cocktails 'teased' and not as well as the signature of the shop will fascinate you: an aromatic Macho or a sweet drink Divinum. Maybe the wine-based Botanical or the exotic Verde? Whatever you choose, it will fully meet your taste needs!
