Methistanes restaurant is located in Psiri, in the center of Athens and has a rich history since 1995. It offers Greek cuisine and has loyal customers since the beginning of its operation. A summer night in Exarchia Square, Jenny, Makis and Elias decides to open a restaurant. Substantially Methistanes was the first restaurant that opened in underground Psiri. The building is unique, characterized by the art deco architecture of the '30s. The menu includes a wide variety of appetizers, Greek specialties and meat prepared with passion and fresh ingredients in traditional and creative recipes in order to accompany wine or other greek spirits. The Drunken beef, pork shank and pasta with shrimps make th difference. Songs and music from other countries will meet you in Methistanes through folk greek sounds during nights with live music.
