Burattinno in Metropolis brings her Italian cuisine , and more specifically the Venetian habits in the center of Athens , combining the established spritz of the inhabitants of the Italian city with an abundance of Italian "mezes" prepared with raw materials that arrive directly from Italy. Bruschettas, arancini and pizza tempt, while the exuberant pastas - such as the authentic Italian carbonara - and the delicious risottos, satisfy even the most demanding gourmet . The colorful courtyard of the original spritzeria Burrattino awaits you just before the Metropolis to introduce you to the delightful Venetian habits. Venetian and the philosophy of the menu: from the bàcari-plates with side dishes that are eaten by hand, such as selected varieties of Villani cold cuts and Italian cheeses, but also the delicious cicchetti: salmon or octopus carpaccio, meat or fish bruschetta, risotto croquettes with beetroot, truffle or saffron known as suppli or arancini to the original Pinsa Romana in 3 different flavors. Don't leave without trying the Amatriciana eggs, with spicy tomato sauce and smoked pancetta, and the Truffle Scrambled eggs, flavored with black truffle on sourdough bread. Aperol Spritz is a favorite cocktail, but few people know that the original Spritz was born in Venice in the 18th century, when the Austrian soldiers who arrived in the city poured their wine to make it lighter! In the courtyard of Burrattino – which means Venetian puppet – you will drink the original Spritz veneziano, as well as 10 more unique Spritz with Mediterranean aroma . In the cellar you will also find fine Italian wines, selected labels from Greece and the unique rosés of Provence. Make your reservation easily and quickly and live a unique experience!
